What is it?
A dual-purpose percentage calculator. It tells you what X% of a value Y equals, and conversely what percentage Y represents relative to X.
How to use
Enter the value (Y) and the percentage (X). The first output shows X% of Y (e.g., 15% of 200 = 30). The second output shows Y as a percentage of X (e.g., 200 / 15 × 100 ≈ 1333.33%).
Example scenario
A jacket is $200 and the store is running a 15% off sale. Enter 200 as the value and 15 as the percentage. The discount is $30, so you pay $170.
Pro tip
To find "A is what percent of B", simply compute (A / B) × 100. This calculator gives you the reverse by using (Y / X) × 100.
